Ask the average person how many things can mess up their credit score and they probably will come up with two or three things. When most people think about boosting their credit score, they usually think about the biggest thing they have to do is to make sure they pay their bills on time.
Here is an example of one thing you can do to increase your credit score. If you have credit cards with credit limits of $300 to $500 that you pay on time each month, your credit score can be lower than a similar person that has credit cards with credit limits of $1,000 or more. For people that credit limits from $250 to $1000 in which they have paid on time, I tell them to increase their credit limits over time to $5,000.
This is just one way for people to increase their credit score in three to nine months.
