This is one reason why so many people don’t want to deal with credit repair people. There are many credit repairers that do not take into consideration credit restoration. Credit restoration is doing things that a bunch of credit repairers don’t want to deal with.

They don’t want to deal with the nuts and bolts or stuff that may take a lot of time to help restore a person’s credit. Let me give you an example. One thing that can lower a person’s credit score is having a lot of accounts with credit limits of 300 to 500.  This falls under the category of credit restoration.

Although a person might have never been delinquent on any of his accounts, his credit scores may be lower because he doesn’t know that the credit scoring system looks down on people that have accounts with small credit limits. The scoring model, along with other potential creditors view people in this category as people that have bad credit, have filed bankruptcy or are people just applying for credit.

Because there can be up to a couple dozen of things like small credit limits that can lower a person’s credit score, many credit repairers don’t want to take the time to work with people in this situation. If they do work with them, they might concentrate on getting  accounts deleted.
