Did I get your attention? Have you seen a statement like this in your in-box, or an advertisement on the Internet making this claim? If you have bad credit, this might get your interest. If life was so simple, people could routinely get all negative items deleted from their credit reports.
Credit repairers that make this proposition are counting on being able to either bombard creditors, collection firms and credit bureaus with a bunch of letters requesting a lot of bogus information or trying to find some loop hole in the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In the old days (prior to the year 2000) it was common for many creditors to not investigate these letters. Instead of taking the time to investigate, they would either delete negative accounts.
If they get an account deleted, hope is increased that all negative accounts will be deleted. A person is not only given the impression that this process might only take a month or two, it will also cost a few hundred dollars to a thousand dollars to get this accomplished. Even when the other accounts are not deleted, no money is returned.
If you would like to make sure you know what can and cannot be deleted from your credit reports, you can e-mail Charles at [email protected] or call me at 313-744-5944. If you are ready to start getting your credit in order, then now is the opportunity to do something about it.
