That is a question that is asked by millions of people everyday. Although that is a legitimate question, many things have to be taken into consideration. Unfortunately there are many people in the credit repair business that lump all people together. They have the tendency to treat all their clients the same way. Let me give you an example of what I am talking about. People have bad credit for many different reasons. Let me give you a few examples.

• Some people have bad credit because they are
crooks. Typically unless these people have a
spiritual revelation they will never change

• There are people that are slow payers. Although
their accounts are usually up to date, they may
have several accounts that have sporadic 30 date
late payments on them. Depending upon how long
it had been between the late payments could
determine if that person is a good or bad credit
risk.

• Then you may also have people that have bad
credit in which I call situational bad credit.
They may have bad credit for one year because of
a layoff, illness or divorce. Some potential
creditors may look upon you in a negative way.
Others may see that your credit was situational
and consider extending credit to you.

So if you use a credit repairer that just lumps you together with everyone else, you may not get your money’s worth and it also might take you a longer time to repair your credit. So when a person asks me how long it will take to repair their credit I am honest with them.

I tell them I can give them some more insight into that after I analyze their credit reports and do an income & expense analysis of their situation. Well that is enough for now.
