What services will be provided by a credit repairer? This is a good one. Although I could write a mini-book on this one, I won’t do that to you. This is another area which causes people to question credit repairers. Let’s discuss it more.

When I entered the debt collection and credit repair industries, I would say that 95% of credit repairers were just letter writers. They would write letters to creditors, collection firms and credit bureaus disputing legitimate accounts on people’s credit reports. They would hope that if the proper paperwork could not be presented on a timely basis that the accounts would have to be dropped from a person’s credit report.

Sadly I must say that there are way too many credit repairers that still do business this way today. This is what I call, part-time or half service credit repair. Unfortunately, there are too many people that enter the credit repair business just to make some quick money. They are not concerned with the quality of credit repair done.
